About Your Tutor – Jackie
Hi, introducing myself Jackie Dunnage, who after working in the corporate world for 5 years in 2021 I gave it all away and took the plunge into self employed work in the arts and crafts industry. With a great imagination and a whole lot of hard work 4 years on I am growing Framing Good Crafts to new levels.
Recently being approached to run Turkish Lamp Courses I have taken this on with great enthusiasm and it is a great addition to my already thriving business.
Teaching workshops can be a deeply rewarding experience, especially when you witness the transformation of your students.
The journey from initial hesitation to a state of creative flow where they go into a world of their own, immersing themselves into their creation.
When they see the colours and patterns come to life their faces light up with pride as they unveil their unique creations.

A friend and I were out looking for something new to do in little ol Timaru and stumbled across the Turkish lamp workshop and decided to give it a shot! Nervous but excited we went and we had a blast, so much that we went a second time a few weeks afterwards! The two ladies were so welcoming and everyone had plenty of laughs. In the end you get to walk away with a beautiful lamp to shine bright in your home, Looking forward to doing more workshops in the future!!

Absolutely addictive activity. We loved our first class with Jackie so much we booked in for a second before the first class was finished. The class makes a fabulous gift as my Mum thoroughly enjoyed her class. We're currently planning a third.
